Brandon Marshall Dominates Training Camp

The Miami Dolphins have a great pair of young cornerbacks in Vontae Davis and Sean Smith.  You wouldn't know it from watching the Dolphins' training camp though, since each has been given the very tall task of covering Brandon Marshall.

Omar Kelly says that watching Brandon Marshall in this year's training camp has been watching "one of the most dominant players I've ever seen".  It's certainly good news for Dolphin fans that Marshall looks poised to live up to the hype.  Be sure to get all your Brandon Marshall posters now!

Dolphins Extend Carpenter

Dolphins Extend Carpenter

The Miami Dolphins have extended pro bowl kicker Dan Carpenter's contract through the 2013 season.  While Carpenter isn't like to sell a ton of Miami Dolphins Posters, he is still a vital part of the team.  We all know how important kickers can be in the NFL (just ask the Chargers), and Carpenter has been one of the best and most reliable.

Carpenter has missed only one field goal under 40 yards in his entire stint with the Dolphins, and only seven out of 53 altogether.  He'll make $470,000 this year and then $6.21 million over the next three years after that.

Miami Dolphins to Don Orange Jerseys

Miami Dolphins to Don Orange Jerseys

The Miami Dolphins 2010 schedule was just released.  Aside from the rough path to the playoffs, we also got another little tidbit of info.  The Dolphins will be donning their orange jerseys in their week 3 home opener against the Jets.

It's a great decision, really.  It's a Sunday night game, so it's nationally televised, and it's against the bitter, hated rival New York Jets in what will surely end up being a very important game.  It won't hurt the Dolphins chances in the game since the Fins have never lost while dressed in orange.  Of course, it should make for some great new Miami Dolphins posters as well.

Fantasy Football Stars Make for Great Miami Dolphins Posters

Football season is creeping ever closer, and for many fans that means fantasy football drafts are ramping up.  There are three Miami Dolphins that are currently going in the top 100 in fantasy football drafts.  They are Ronnie Brown, Brandon Marshall, and Ricky Williams.

Since we all know that if you're on this site you are a Miami Dolphins homer, and will be picking those guys just a bit earlier than they should go, it's a great time to pick up a Brandon Marshall poster, a Ronnie Brown poster, or a Ricky Williams poster, and cheer your fantasy football studs on.

Miami Dolphins Sign A.J. Edds

Miami Dolphins Sign A.J. Edds

Coverage specialist and mid-round selection A.J. Edds was signed to a 4-year deal this week by the Miami Dolphins, totalling some $477,000.  Edds is another of the many linebackers that the Dolphins have brought in this offseason.  While late round rookie linebackers typically spend most of their time on the bench of practice squad, Dolphins coaches have been impressed with Epps and say he could see the field early on in nickel situations due to his good coverage skills.

So, welcome to the Dolphins Mr. Edds, hopefully one day you'll be good enough that people will be able to buy Miami Dolphins posters with you on the front.

Channing Crowder Has a Big Mouth, Time to Back it up on the Field

Channing Crowder Has a Big Mouth, Time to Back it up on the Field

In a down season that resulted in the Dolphins signing both Karlos Dansby and Tim Dobbins, Channing Crowder started 13 games last year and had only 52 tackles.  Crowder has since drawn a lot of criticism from Miami Dolphins fans, but he says he's not concerned.  Crowder says that the only people he has to please are Bill Parcells, Jeff Ireland, and Tony Sparano, and that they "liked him".

Be sure to get your Channing Crowder posters in our Miami Dolphins Poster store above.

Ronnie Brown Won't Hold Out, It's Safe to Buy His Miami Dolphins Posters

Ronnie Brown Won't Hold Out, It's Safe to Buy His Miami Dolphins Posters

Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown has yet to sign his restricted free agent tender, however he says he's unlikely to hold out.  Brown, who is 29 and coming off yet another major injury, wants a long-term deal.  Miami however is unlikely to give him such a deal, especially with the precident set by guys like Edgerrin James and Shaun Alexander, who fell off shortly after signing huge deals, even without all the injuries.

Ronnie Brown likely knows this his last chance to get a big contract as next offseason he will have hit the dreaded 30 year old mark, which may as well be the kiss of death for running backs.  In the end, Brown will likely sign his tender so make sure and get those Ronnie Brown posters now!

Miami Dolphins Owner Thinks You'll be Buying Miami Dolphins Super Bowl Posters in February

Miami Dolphins Owner Thinks You'll be Buying Miami Dolphins Super Bowl Posters in February

Feeling good about the changes the Miami Dolphins have made this offseasn?  Well, you're not alone.  Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross thinks the Dolphins will be playing in the Super Bowl this year.

Specifically, he says "I think in February we’re going to be playing in the Super Bowl. Let’s put it this way – Tony thinks that, too. So does every player on that team. So I don’t think there’s any pressure. You just got to go out and do it."

Big words from the man, though in today's modern NFL with teams seemingly coming out of nowhere to make deep playoff runs, it's certainly not out of the question, especially with the additions of Brandon Marshall, Karlos Dansby, Mike Nolan, the new draft picks, and the rookie CB duo getting some more experience.  Who knows where the future lies for the Dolphins, but if it is indeed in the super bowl we'll have all the Miami Dolphins Posters you need to celebrate it.

Dolphins Making Push for Atogwe

Posted by vcize on 7-6-2010 12:56 pm
Dolphins Making Push for Atogwe The Dolphins have a gaping hole at FS, there's no mystery there.  So it was worth noticing Friday that the Rams did not exercise their option on free safety O.J. Atogwe, who has now officially become a free agent.

NFL Fanhouse is reporting that the Dolphins are making an effort to sign Atogwe.  However, according to Jeff Darlington of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are happy with the way Clemons is playing in OTAs and are unlikely to sign Atogwe.  What say Dolphins fans, do you want them to sign Atogwe?

Miami Dolphins Release Reggie Torbor, no Miami Dolphins Posters Affected

With all the new LBs brought in this offseason for new defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, it's no surprise that some of the veterans were on their way out.  Reggie Torbor is the latest such victim, as he has been cut by the Miami Dolphins to make room for newcomers like Karlos Dansby and Koa Misi.

Don't worry, Torbor wasn't making an appearance on any of our Miami Dolphins Posters anyway.

2014 Super Bowl will be in New York...not Miami

2014 Super Bowl will be in New York...not Miami

It looks like the 2014 Super Bowl may very well be played in the snow.  That news comes courtesy of the latest vote, which has elected to have the 2014 Super Bowl in New York (well, New Jersey really).

It's too bad, because with this young defense that Bill Parcells is building, 2014 could have been some great time for us to be selling some Miami Dolphins Super Bowl Posters in a home played Super Bowl.

Dolphins Biggest Offseason Pickup Could be Mike Nolan

Posted by vcize on 30-5-2010 5:25 pm
Dolphins Biggest Offseason Pickup Could be Mike Nolan

Brandon Marshall.  Karlos Dansby.  Jared Odrick.  Koa Misi.  These guys were all huge offseason pickups by the Dolphins, but which was the biggest?  As it turn out, it may be none of them.  The biggest upgrade this offseason for the Miami Dolphins may have been none other than Mike Nolan, the ex-Broncos defensive coordinator and ex-49ers head coach.

Last season, the Broncos entered the year coming off a season where a defense that finished outside the top 30 the year before, and was the reason that their high-powered offense didn't even result in a playoff birth.  Last season, they started 6-0, almost fully on the legs of a strong defense that had very few personnel changes other than the hiring of Nolan as the defensive coordinator.

Now, with the Miami Dolphins, Nolan gets a crew of young linebackers ready to learn from him, and a pair of corners that could be the next Madison/Surtain combo.  It will be interesting to see if he can return this unit to one of the tops in the NFL.

Be sure to check out our Mike Nolan posters in our Miami Dolphins posters section of the website.
